Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of the power plant, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and analyze plant performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation.
- Ensure adherence to maintenance schedules and coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Manage budgets, resources, and procurement processes to support operational goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies and local communities, to maintain positive relationships.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure working environment for all staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Proven experience in operations management within a power plant or similar industrial setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- In-depth knowledge of power plant operations, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in using operational management software and tools.
