Responsibility

  • Design and optimize electromagnetic actuators, motors, and solenoids for automotive LiDAR applications using advanced simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS Maxwell, COMSOL, or FEMM).
  • Develop and validate prototypes through rigorous testing, including thermal, mechanical, and electromagnetic performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to integrate electromagnetic components into LiDAR systems.
  • Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and computational electromagnetics (CEM) to ensure compliance with industry standards and performance benchmarks.
  • Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and scalability in high-volume production environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electromagnetic interference (EMI) and compatibility (EMC) issues in complex systems.
  • Document technical specifications, test reports, and design iterations for regulatory and internal review.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies in electromagnetic materials, miniaturization, and automotive sensor systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromagnetic Engineering, or a related field; PhD is a plus.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in electromagnetic design, with a focus on actuators, motors, or sensors for automotive or aerospace applications.
  • Proficiency in electromagnetic simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL, Altair Flux, or MATLAB/Simulink).
  • Strong background in magnetics, electromechanics, and control systems for precision applications.
  • Experience with prototype development, testing, and DFM (Design for Manufacturing) in a fast-paced R&D environment.
  • Familiarity with automotive industry standards (e.g., ISO 26262, IATF 16949) and EMI/EMC compliance testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous but not required.
