Whether you're optimizing electrical systems, conducting feasibility studies, or overseeing project execution, your work will have a lasting impact.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $13,000 USD, plus Annual Wage Supplement (AWS) and Variable Bonus (VB), along with opportunities for professional growth in a fast-paced, international environment.
Responsibility
- Lead the technical bidding process for power plant projects, including cost estimation, risk assessment, and proposal development.
- Design, analyze, and optimize electrical systems for power generation, transmission, and distribution, ensuring compliance with local and international standards (e.g., IEEE, NEC, IEC).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop feasibility studies, conceptual designs, and detailed engineering drawings for power infrastructure.
- Oversee project execution, including procurement, installation, and commissioning of electrical equipment (e.g., transformers, switchgear, generators).
- Conduct site inspections and technical audits to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and performance specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams on electrical engineering best practices.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and regulatory authorities to obtain approvals, permits, and certifications for power projects.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in renewable energy, smart grids, and energy storage to drive innovation in power plant design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; PE (Professional Engineer) license is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering for power plants, with a focus on design, construction, or commissioning.
- Proven track record in technical bidding, proposal writing, and contract negotiation for large-scale energy projects.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., ETAP, AutoCAD, Revit, SKM PowerTools) and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, PSS/E).
- Strong knowledge of power system analysis, including load flow, short circuit, and arc flash studies.
- Experience with international standards (IEEE, IEC, ANSI) and local regulations in Southeast Asia.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
