Responsibility
- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and procedures for PCB validation, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., IPC-A-600, IPC-6012).
- Perform functional, environmental, and reliability testing on PCBs, including thermal cycling, vibration, and electrical performance tests.
- Identify, document, and troubleshoot defects using tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and automated test equipment (ATE).
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to analyze root causes of failures and recommend design or process improvements.
- Automate test processes where applicable to improve efficiency and repeatability in high-volume production environments.
- Generate detailed test reports and present findings to stakeholders, including recommendations for corrective actions.
- Ensure traceability of test results and maintain accurate documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in PCB testing and quality assurance to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in QA engineering, with a focus on PCB testing and validation.
- Proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and automated test systems.
- Strong understanding of PCB design principles, manufacturing processes, and industry standards (e.g., IPC).
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., LabVIEW, Python, or similar) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
