Responsibility
- Lead the strategic direction and development of digital subsystem solutions for Infineon’s global product portfolio, ensuring alignment with business goals and market demands.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of digital subsystem projects, from concept to production, including architecture design, verification, and validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, product management, marketing) to define technical requirements and drive innovation in digital design.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Drive cost optimization, performance enhancement, and scalability of digital subsystems to meet evolving industry standards (e.g., ISO 26262, AEC-Q100).
- Partner with customers and suppliers to identify emerging trends, gather feedback, and translate insights into actionable product roadmaps.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements across all digital subsystem solutions.
- Represent Infineon at industry conferences, technical forums, and customer meetings to showcase thought leadership in digital engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in digital design, subsystem development, or semiconductor engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in digital architecture, RTL design (Verilog/VHDL), and verification methodologies (UVM, formal verification).
- Strong background in system-on-chip (SoC) integration, FPGA/ASIC development, and embedded systems.
- Experience with industry-standard tools (Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics) and scripting languages (Python, Tcl, Perl).
- Deep understanding of power efficiency, signal integrity, and security in digital subsystems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Track record of delivering high-quality digital solutions in automotive, industrial, or consumer electronics sectors.
