Responsibility
- Operate and maintain SMT (Surface Mount Technology) machines, including pick-and-place systems, solder paste printers, and reflow ovens.
- Perform quality inspections on PCB assemblies to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production line issues, minimizing downtime and optimizing efficiency.
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of SMT equipment to ensure peak performance.
- Assist in the setup and changeover of production lines for different product configurations.
- Document and report defects, process deviations, and corrective actions in accordance with company protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to improve manufacturing processes and reduce waste.
- Adhere to safety, ESD (Electrostatic Discharge), and cleanroom protocols to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of SMT processes, PCB assembly, and electronic components (training provided for fresh graduates).
- Hands-on experience with soldering, rework, and inspection tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IPC-A-610, or other quality standards is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and work instructions.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Willingness to work in shift-based environments and adapt to fast-paced production demands.
