Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and automation for industrial plant operations.
- Conduct regular inspections and predictive maintenance to ensure compliance with safety standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA) and minimize operational risks.
- Troubleshoot electrical failures, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to restore functionality swiftly.
- Optimize energy consumption by evaluating electrical load demands and recommending efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, production, safety) to integrate electrical systems with broader plant operations.
- Prepare technical reports, schematics, and documentation for electrical projects, upgrades, and compliance audits.
- Lead or support capital projects, including system upgrades, new installations, and technology adoption (e.g., PLCs, SCADA).
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on electrical best practices, safety protocols, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., P.E., CMRP) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial electrical engineering, preferably in manufacturing, steel, or heavy industry.
- Proficient in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP) and familiar with industrial standards (IEC, NEC).
- Strong knowledge of high/low-voltage systems, motors, transformers, and protective devices.
- Experience with PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial automation is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of reducing downtime and improving system reliability.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian is a bonus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adhere to strict deadlines.
