Responsibility
- Design, develop, and oversee electrical systems for HDB residential and commercial projects, ensuring compliance with Singapore and Indonesian standards.
- Prepare and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications for tender submissions and construction.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to integrate electrical systems with overall project designs.
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and quality checks to ensure adherence to safety regulations and project timelines.
- Manage project budgets, procurement of electrical materials, and vendor coordination to optimize cost efficiency.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, propose solutions, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies (e.g., smart home systems, energy-efficient solutions), and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; professional certification (e.g., PE, Chartered Engineer) is a plus.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering, with proven expertise in HDB projects in Singapore.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore’s Electrical Code (SS 638), IEE Regulations, and local building codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, or Dialux for electrical design and simulation.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and sustainable design practices is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and government authorities.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia (relocation assistance provided).
