Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and ventilation, to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues in guest rooms, public areas, and operational facilities.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement preventive maintenance programs and reduce downtime.
- Monitor energy consumption and recommend efficiency improvements to align with sustainability goals.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment and systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory of spare parts.
- Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, industry standards, and hotel policies.
- Provide emergency on-call support for critical system failures outside of regular working hours.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in the hospitality or facilities management sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical circuits, and building automation.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with safety protocols, including OSHA or local Indonesian regulations.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with team members and management.
- Ability to work independently, under pressure, and in a team-oriented environment.
