Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and review of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems, ensuring compliance with local and international standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, SNI).
- Prepare and approve detailed shop drawings, schematics, and technical specifications for electrical installations.
- Oversee on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality benchmarks.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and cross-functional teams to integrate electrical designs seamlessly into broader project scopes.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency in all electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during installation and commissioning phases.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, documentation, and as-built drawings for project handover and client deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., P.E., CEng) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design, installation, and commissioning, with a proven track record in leading projects from inception to completion.
- Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or Revit MEP, and familiarity with BIM tools.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC, SNI, or local Indonesian standards).
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage budgets, and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders, clients, and team members.
- Experience working in Southeast Asia or on international projects is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
