Responsibility
- Lead the electrical design of data center power distribution systems, including MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, and generators.
- Develop and review electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and load calculations to ensure compliance with NFPA, IEC, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and construction teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly.
- Oversee site surveys, feasibility studies, and cost estimations for electrical infrastructure projects.
- Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met during construction and commissioning phases.
- Implement energy-efficient and sustainable electrical solutions to reduce operational costs and carbon footprint.
- Conduct risk assessments and failure mode analysis to enhance system reliability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and on-site teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; PE (Professional Engineer) license is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical design and construction, with at least 2 years in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, or SKM PowerTools for electrical modeling and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of power distribution, grounding, lightning protection, and emergency power systems.
- Experience with international standards (e.g., NFPA 70, IEC 61439, TIA-942) and local Indonesian electrical codes.
- Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and modular data center designs is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Bali as needed.
