Responsibility
- Design, develop, and oversee electrical systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects in compliance with local and international standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
- Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and load calculations to ensure optimal system performance and cost-efficiency.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, schematics, and specifications using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and project managers to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality benchmarks.
- Perform energy audits and recommend sustainable solutions, including solar power integration and energy-efficient technologies.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and contractors, resolving complex engineering challenges on-site.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to maintain competitive expertise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design and project management, preferably in a consultancy or construction firm.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification (e.g., MIET, CEng) is highly advantageous.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, ETAP, or Dialux for electrical design and simulation.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian electrical codes (PUIL) and international standards (IEC, IEEE).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Bali and occasionally to other regions in Indonesia.
