Responsibility
- Develop comprehensive electrical designs (power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems) using Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure electrical systems align with project goals and compliance standards.
- Prepare and review electrical drawings, schematics, and single-line diagrams for accuracy and code compliance (NFPA, IEC, or local regulations).
- Perform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and short-circuit coordination studies to optimize system performance.
- Coordinate with BIM managers to integrate electrical models with other disciplines (HVAC, plumbing, structural) in a clash-free environment.
- Assist in the preparation of technical specifications, bills of materials (BOM), and cost estimates for electrical components.
- Conduct site visits and field surveys to verify existing conditions and resolve design conflicts during construction.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and sustainable design practices (e.g., energy-efficient lighting, renewable energy integration).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; professional certification (e.g., PE, CPD) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design for buildings, with at least 3 years using Revit MEP.
- Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, ETAP, or Dialux; familiarity with Navisworks is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (NFPA 70, IEC 60364, or local Indonesian regulations).
- Experience with BIM 360, Solibri, or other collaboration tools for multi-disciplinary coordination.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with international teams and clients.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles (LEED, Green Mark) and smart building technologies is a strong asset.
