Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and testing of electrical systems, including schematics, PCB layouts, and power distribution networks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical components with mechanical and software systems.
- Ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., IEC, UL, ISO) and local regulations for safety and performance.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analyses for electrical design projects.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues during prototyping and production phases.
- Prepare and present technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement in design processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; professional certification (e.g., PE, CEng) is a plus.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in electrical design, with a focus on power systems, embedded systems, or industrial automation.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Altium Designer, SolidWorks Electrical) and simulation software (e.g., MATLAB, SPICE).
- Strong knowledge of power electronics, motor controls, and analog/digital circuit design.
- Experience with regulatory compliance (e.g., CE, FCC, RoHS) and testing methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English with exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.
- Prior experience in contract-based roles or international projects is highly desirable.
