Responsibility
- Design, develop, and program PLC-based control systems (Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000, or Codesys) for industrial automation projects.
- Lead the wiring, testing, and commissioning of control panels, ensuring compliance with international standards (IEC, UL, or NEMA).
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation systems to improve performance, reduce downtime, and enhance safety.
- Collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams to integrate sensors, actuators, and VFD drives into cohesive automation solutions.
- Develop and maintain HMI/SCADA interfaces (Ignition, WinCC, or FactoryTalk) for real-time monitoring and control.
- Create technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, functional specifications, and user manuals.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement fail-safe mechanisms for critical automation processes.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in Industry 4.0 (IoT, AI, and predictive maintenance) and apply them to projects.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in PLC programming, control panel design, and industrial automation.
- Proficiency in ladder logic, structured text (ST), and function block diagrams (FBD) for PLC development.
- Experience with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, or OPC UA).
- Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, motor controls, and industrial safety standards (NFPA 79, ISO 13849).
- Familiarity with CAD tools (AutoCAD Electrical, Eplan, or SolidWorks Electrical) for panel design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is mandatory; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
