Responsibility
- Lead the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, install, and commission new electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and maintenance staff.
- Analyze system failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Manage projects related to system upgrades, automation, and efficiency improvements.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including technical reports, schematics, and maintenance logs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, SCADA, and industrial automation.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and calibration of instrumentation equipment.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as IEC, NEC, and ISO.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using engineering software and tools for design and analysis.
