Responsibility
- Lead and oversee daily production operations, ensuring equipment runs efficiently and meets production targets.
- Perform regular maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of machinery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues affecting production.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance manufacturing processes and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment engineering, preferably in the metal manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines, presses, and automation systems.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
