Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance EDA software for semiconductor and electronics design applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and architecture for next-gen EDA tools.
- Implement advanced algorithms for simulation, verification, and design automation to enhance tool efficiency and accuracy.
- Debug and resolve complex software issues, ensuring robustness and scalability of EDA solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in EDA, AI/ML for chip design, and high-performance computing to drive innovation.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in software development and testing.
- Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to gather feedback and refine product features.
- Document software designs, APIs, and user guides to ensure clarity and usability.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on EDA, CAD, or semiconductor design tools.
- Proficiency in C++, Python, or Java, with experience in high-performance computing or parallel processing.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and computational complexity.
- Experience with EDA frameworks (e.g., Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog, or SPICE) is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud computing, containerization (Docker), or CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
