Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures for Google's data centers.
- Oversee compliance with global security standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, etc.).
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability audits to identify potential threats.
- Lead incident response efforts and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage physical and cybersecurity measures, including access control and surveillance systems.
- Train and mentor security personnel to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to integrate security into infrastructure design.
- Monitor and report on security metrics to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data center security, compliance, or risk management.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are highly desirable.
- Proven expertise in security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with cloud security and infrastructure protection.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment.
