Responsibility
- Perform regular maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on IT hardware, including servers, workstations, and peripheral devices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems across the organization.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity protocols to protect data integrity and prevent unauthorized access.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess IT needs and recommend scalable solutions.
- Document all maintenance activities, system configurations, and incident reports for compliance and auditing purposes.
- Provide technical support to end-users, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience (2+ years) in IT maintenance, system administration, or network support.
- Strong knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, software installation, and network configurations.
- Proficiency in Windows/Linux server environments, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, backup systems, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.
