Responsibility
- Oversee and coordinate daily aircraft maintenance operations to ensure compliance with aviation safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor real-time aircraft status, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions and delays.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, flight operations, and ground support to optimize maintenance schedules and enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and preventive measures to improve aircraft reliability and performance.
- Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including logs, reports, and compliance records for audits and regulatory inspections.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and maintenance staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement best practices for maintenance procedures, risk management, and emergency response protocols.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to drive innovation in maintenance operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering, or a related role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership position.
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations (EASA, FAA, or DGCA) and industry best practices for aircraft maintenance and safety.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident management in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in maintenance planning software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certifications such as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment with flexibility for shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
