Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment, fixtures, and systems, including lighting, air conditioning, and water supply.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or installations when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory of tools and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, fire codes, and local building standards.
- Assist in the implementation of energy-saving initiatives and sustainable practices to reduce operational costs.
- Provide emergency maintenance support outside of regular working hours as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in facilities maintenance, preferably in the hospitality or hotel industry.
- Strong technical skills in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
- Basic computer literacy for maintaining digital records and work orders.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and staff.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by operational needs.
