Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on high-precision manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and resolve technical failures in automated systems, PLCs, and robotic machinery with minimal downtime.
- Develop and implement equipment improvement plans to enhance efficiency, reliability, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new machinery and conduct rigorous testing and validation.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and generate detailed reports for continuous process optimization.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on best practices for equipment handling and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, ISO standards, and company safety protocols.
- Source and evaluate new technologies and vendors to support equipment upgrades and cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, automation, or manufacturing engineering, preferably in electronics or semiconductor industries.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and industrial automation.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools, CAD software, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach to equipment performance.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) methodologies is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with global and local teams.
- Willingness to work in shift-based or on-call schedules as required by production demands.
