Responsibility
- Develop and maintain detailed technical drawings (2D/3D) for mechanical, structural, or architectural projects using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret engineering specifications and convert them into precise, actionable designs.
- Review and validate drawings for accuracy, compliance with industry standards (ISO, ANSI, ASME), and adherence to project requirements.
- Update and revise existing drawings based on feedback, design changes, or field adjustments.
- Optimize designs for material efficiency, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation to support procurement and production teams.
- Conduct site visits or virtual walkthroughs to verify as-built conditions and resolve discrepancies.
- Stay current with CAD software advancements and emerging design technologies to enhance workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Draughtsperson, CAD Designer, or similar role in engineering/manufacturing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory), with additional expertise in SolidWorks, Revit, or Fusion 360 being a plus.
- Strong understanding of technical drawing standards (e.g., GD&T, ISO 2768) and dimensional tolerancing.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and spatial reasoning skills to ensure error-free designs.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills in English to liaise with international teams and clients.
