Responsibility
- Create detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts and convert them into precise drafts.
- Review and verify drawings for accuracy, compliance with regulations, and adherence to project specifications.
- Modify and update existing drawings based on feedback, site conditions, or design changes.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, including as-built drawings, revision logs, and project archives.
- Ensure all drafts meet local building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Provide technical support during the construction phase, clarifying drawings and resolving discrepancies.
- Stay updated with the latest drafting technologies, tools, and industry trends to enhance efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Draftsman in construction, engineering, or architectural firms.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D) and other drafting tools.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and building codes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering and architectural plans.
