Responsibility
- Develop detailed technical drawings (2D/3D) for construction projects using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to interpret design concepts and convert them into accurate blueprints.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, local regulations, and project specifications.
- Review and revise drafts based on feedback from project managers and stakeholders.
- Prepare as-built drawings and maintain up-to-date documentation for project archives.
- Assist in material takeoffs and cost estimations by analyzing drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with on-site teams to address discrepancies between drawings and field conditions.
- Stay updated on latest drafting technologies and best practices in construction design.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in drafting for construction, infrastructure, or architectural projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and technical standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and spatial awareness to ensure accuracy in designs.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
