Responsibility
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the APAC channel strategy, ensuring alignment with global LEGO Group objectives while adapting to local market dynamics.
- Commercial Governance: Oversee the governance of commercial policies, pricing strategies, and trade terms to maximize profitability and market share.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with regional sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to drive integrated commercial plans and execution.
- Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in new and existing markets, including e-commerce, retail, and wholesale channels.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor KPIs, financial performance, and market trends to refine strategies and ensure competitive advantage.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, and business partners across APAC.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing regional commercial team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Risk & Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal, ethical, and brand standards in all commercial activities.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: 12+ years in commercial development, sales, or business strategy, with at least 5 years in a regional leadership role in APAC.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of toy, retail, or consumer goods industries, with experience in multi-channel distribution.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute data-driven commercial strategies that balance growth, profitability, and brand integrity.
- Leadership Skills: Strong people management experience, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Financial Acumen: Expertise in P&L management, budgeting, and financial forecasting for large-scale operations.
- Stakeholder Influence: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to engage with C-level executives, partners, and cross-functional teams.
- APAC Market Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Asia-Pacific markets, including cultural, economic, and regulatory landscapes.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
