Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) revenue for Marriott Hotels in Bali.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities with corporate clients, event planners, and travel agencies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the MICE industry, including global event organizers and luxury travel partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, marketing, and banquet services) to ensure seamless execution of MICE events.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals, contracts, and presentations tailored to client needs, ensuring competitive pricing and value-added services.
- Conduct site inspections and familiarization trips for potential clients to showcase Marriottâs venues and services.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through proactive sales strategies and client engagement.
- Provide exceptional post-event follow-up to ensure client satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) in sales, preferably within the hospitality, MICE, or luxury travel industry.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-profile clients and industry stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Baliâs hospitality and MICE market is a significant advantage.
- Bachelorâs degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally as required for client meetings and industry events.
