Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Automate and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions) to accelerate software delivery.
- Implement and enforce security best practices (IAM, encryption, compliance) across cloud environments.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices and improve deployment workflows.
- Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker in production environments.
- Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks, reducing manual intervention.
- Stay updated with emerging DevOps trends and recommend innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar cloud-focused role.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi).
- Strong expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions) and version control (Git).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration in production.
- Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) and logging systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
