Responsibility
- Develop and refine detailed 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and Revit for architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers, to ensure design alignment with client requirements and technical specifications.
- Review and validate design drawings for accuracy, compliance with local building codes, and industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM).
- Lead the creation of construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed annotations.
- Optimize designs for cost-efficiency, material usage, and constructability while maintaining aesthetic and functional integrity.
- Mentor junior designers and drafters, providing guidance on software best practices and design principles.
- Participate in client presentations and design reviews, articulating technical concepts clearly and professionally.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in BIM (Building Information Modeling) and CAD technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in design and drafting, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality technical drawings for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
- Proficiency in BIM 360, Navisworks, or SketchUp is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of construction methodologies, material specifications, and structural systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with international stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to identify and resolve design discrepancies.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a remote or hybrid setting.
