Responsibility
- Lead and manage the end-to-end design development process, from conceptualization to construction documentation.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integrity and compliance with regulations.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of design drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and authorities to obtain necessary approvals and permits.
- Implement design best practices, sustainability principles, and cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Resolve design-related challenges and provide innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes.
- Mentor and guide junior designers and draftsmen to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Design Management from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in design management, with a focus on architectural or construction projects.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects from inception to completion, including coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, BIM 360, and other design software.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards in Indonesia or Southeast Asia.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to evolving project requirements.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
