As a key leader, you will oversee the design, development, and optimization of high-pressure systems, ensuring compliance with international standards (ASME, PED, etc.) while driving efficiency and sustainability. Responsibility
- Lead the design and engineering of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and related systems, ensuring compliance with ASME, PED, and local regulations.
- Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and BOMs for manufacturing and procurement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, production, QA) to optimize thermal efficiency, material selection, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) studies and feasibility analyses for new projects.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices in pressure equipment design.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and certification bodies to ensure project deliverables meet quality and safety standards.
- Implement risk assessments and failure mode analyses to enhance system reliability.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in pressure equipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in pressure vessel and heat exchanger design, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PV Elite, or Compress) and FEA tools (ANSYS, ABAQUS).
- Deep knowledge of ASME Section VIII, PED, TEMA, and API standards.
- Strong project management skills with experience in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes (welding, NDT, material testing) is a plus.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia (work permit support provided).
