Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on industrial pumps and dewatering systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in pump systems.
- Ensure all pumps are operational and ready for deployment in workshop and field settings.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment failures and extend pump lifespan.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve pump performance and reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all maintenance and repair tasks.
- Provide technical support and training to junior mechanics as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a pump mechanic or in a similar mechanical role.
- Strong knowledge of industrial pumps, dewatering systems, and hydraulic mechanisms.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting.
- Certification in mechanical engineering or a related field is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel to field sites as required.
