Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on aircraft cabin interiors, including seats, galleys, lavatories, and overhead bins.
- Diagnose and repair faults in cabin systems such as lighting, entertainment, and environmental controls.
- Conduct functional tests on cabin equipment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Replace or upgrade cabin components, including upholstery, panels, and electrical systems, as required.
- Document all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and parts replacements, in accordance with company procedures.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to troubleshoot complex cabin-related issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
- Assist in the preparation of aircraft cabins for special configurations or VIP requirements.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Aircraft Maintenance, Avionics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in aircraft cabin maintenance or a similar workshop environment.
- Familiarity with aviation regulations and standards, including those set by ICAO and local authorities.
- Strong technical skills in electrical, mechanical, and upholstery systems related to aircraft cabins.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, or working in confined spaces.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
