Responsibility
- Lead and oversee design activities for LTA/MRT and civil infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with technical and regulatory standards.
- Review and approve technical submissions, drawings, and specifications to guarantee compliance with engineering best practices.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure project milestones are met.
- Develop and implement design methodologies and workflows to optimize efficiency and quality in project delivery.
- Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies for design-related challenges.
- Mentor junior designers and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present technical reports and progress updates to senior management and clients.
- Ensure all designs adhere to safety, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness criteria.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., P.E., CEng) is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in design management for large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in rail/MRT or transportation sectors.
- Proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary design teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Deep knowledge of LTA standards, local regulations, and international engineering codes (e.g., Eurocodes, AASHTO).
- Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Civil 3D), AutoCAD, and project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise with government bodies and private sector partners.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing design and technical challenges.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
