Responsibility
- Design and develop solar energy systems, including photovoltaic (PV) arrays, inverters, and battery storage solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Conduct site assessments and energy audits to determine optimal system configurations and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with project managers, electrical engineers, and construction teams to oversee the implementation of solar projects from concept to completion.
- Perform detailed calculations, simulations, and modeling to optimize system efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
- Prepare technical documentation, including schematics, blueprints, and project reports, for internal and client review.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes to ensure our solutions remain competitive and compliant.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing solar installations, ensuring long-term performance and customer satisfaction.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge-sharing initiatives to foster a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in solar energy system design, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, SketchUp, or similar design and simulation software.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and energy storage technologies.
- Familiarity with local and international solar energy regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, SNI).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Experience working in Southeast Asia or tropical climates is highly desirable.
