Responsibility
- Develop and optimize compounding processes to enhance glove quality, durability, and performance while reducing production costs.
- Conduct research and experimentation to innovate new glove formulations and improve existing products.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot process inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with international quality standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM) and regulatory requirements for glove manufacturing.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, optimize resource utilization, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional projects to scale up new formulations from lab to full-scale production.
- Provide technical support to production teams, including training and guidance on best practices for compounding and quality control.
- Maintain accurate documentation of processes, formulations, and experimental results for knowledge sharing and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science, or a related field (Masterâs degree preferred).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in compounding, chemical engineering, or production optimization within the glove, rubber, or polymer manufacturing industry.
- Proven expertise in formulation development, process optimization, and quality control for industrial or healthcare products.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, statistical process control (SPC), and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Familiarity with ISO, ASTM, or other international quality standards for glove manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with lab-scale and pilot-scale compounding equipment, including mixers, extruders, and testing instruments.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process improvement.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
