Responsibility
- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical automation systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement automation improvements.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications for record-keeping and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards during all maintenance and repair activities.
- Assist in the calibration and testing of automated mechanical systems to meet operational requirements.
- Provide technical support and training to team members on automation systems and best practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Automation Technician or in a similar mechanical role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, automation technologies, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and other automation control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Certification in automation or mechanical systems is a plus.
