Responsibility
- Design, develop, and deploy SCADA and Power Monitoring Systems for data centers, factories, and critical power infrastructure.
- Program and configure PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) to automate industrial processes and ensure seamless integration with SCADA systems.
- Conduct system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure reliability, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, mechanical, IT) to integrate monitoring solutions with existing infrastructure.
- Provide technical support, maintenance, and upgrades for deployed systems, including remote diagnostics and on-site assistance.
- Develop HMI (Human-Machine Interface) dashboards for real-time visualization of power consumption, anomalies, and performance metrics.
- Prepare technical documentation, including system architectures, user manuals, and as-built drawings.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in Industrial IoT (IIoT), smart grids, and energy management systems to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in SCADA system development (e.g., Siemens WinCC, Schneider Electric EcoStruxure, Ignition).
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley Studio 5000, CODESYS).
- Strong knowledge of power monitoring protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850) and industrial communication networks.
- Experience with data acquisition, historian databases (e.g., OSIsoft PI, InfluxDB), and analytics tools.
- Familiarity with electrical power systems, including switchgear, transformers, and protective relays.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) for client interactions and technical reporting.
