Responsibility
- Develop and execute the engineering strategy aligned with the company’s long-term goals and hospitality standards.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of all mechanical, electrical, and civil systems across properties.
- Lead a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local and international building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices and energy-efficient technologies.
- Manage capital expenditure (CapEx) budgets and vendor relationships for engineering projects and procurement.
- Implement predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan.
- Represent the engineering department in executive meetings and stakeholder discussions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering leadership, with at least 5 years in hospitality, real estate, or large-scale facilities management.
- Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams and large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building automation in luxury environments.
- Familiarity with Indonesian regulations (e.g., PUPR, PLN, environmental laws) and international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, ISO).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, BMS (Building Management Systems), and project management tools.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional languages are a plus.
