Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems for infrastructure and energy projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical analyses to optimize project performance and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and project managers to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation using CAD and BIM software.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
- Ensure all mechanical designs adhere to safety, environmental, and quality standards, including local and international codes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in mechanical engineering, particularly in renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PE, PMP) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on infrastructure, energy systems, or industrial projects.
- Proven expertise in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit) and BIM tools for design and simulation.
- Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and structural analysis as applied to mechanical systems.
- Experience with project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.
- Familiarity with renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, hydro) and sustainable engineering practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is an advantage.
