Responsibility
- Lead the design and development of mechanical/electrical systems and components from concept to production.
- Create detailed 2D/3D models, technical drawings, and specifications using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure designs meet performance, cost, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and prototype testing to validate design integrity.
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, sustainability, and cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and materials to drive continuous innovation.
- Prepare and present design proposals, reports, and documentation to stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., P.E.) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product design, mechanical engineering, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD) and simulation software (ANSYS, MATLAB).
- Strong knowledge of materials science, manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, 3D printing), and DFM principles.
- Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and ISO/ANSI standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines in a collaborative environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Portfolio showcasing past design projects and innovations (required for consideration).
