Responsibility
- Design and develop mechanical systems for building and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into project designs.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analyses to optimize project outcomes.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation using CAD software and other design tools.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems to ensure functionality and performance.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during project execution and post-implementation phases.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance design efficiency and sustainability.
- Ensure all projects adhere to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in building or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other engineering design tools.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in mechanical engineering are advantageous.
