Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end design and development of industrial cleaning equipment, bus depot systems, and railway maintenance machinery.
- Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet safety, regulatory, and performance standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA).
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for multiple concurrent engineering initiatives.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and prototype testing to validate design integrity.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and manufacturers to source materials, optimize production, and resolve technical challenges.
- Implement sustainable and cost-effective design practices to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
- Provide technical support and training for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of deployed systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; Masterâs preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, heavy machinery, or industrial equipment development.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) and FEA analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of materials science, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation systems.
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and regulatory compliance (ISO, CE, UL).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with transportation infrastructure (bus/railway depots) is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment with occasional travel to client sites.
