Responsibility
- Design and develop EST Fire Alarm Systems tailored to client specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Program, configure, and test fire alarm control panels, detectors, and associated equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical engineers, project managers, and clients) to ensure seamless system integration.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine optimal system layouts and component placement.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, schematics, and documentation using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation, commissioning, and maintenance phases.
- Ensure all designs and implementations comply with NFPA, EN54, and local fire safety codes.
- Provide training and support to clients and internal teams on system operation and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fire alarm system design, programming, or engineering (preferably with EST systems).
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and fire alarm programming tools.
- Strong knowledge of fire safety standards (NFPA 72, EN54, UL) and local regulations.
- Experience with addressable fire alarm systems, analog sensors, and networked solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in system design and testing.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to travel occasionally for site visits and project meetings.
