Responsibility
- Develop and refine 2D/3D CAD models and technical drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and BIM 360 for mechanical, architectural, and structural projects.
- Lead BIM (Building Information Modeling) coordination, ensuring clash detection, model accuracy, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 19650).
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate design requirements into cohesive BIM models.
- Generate and maintain shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built documentation with meticulous attention to detail.
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and sustainability while adhering to project specifications.
- Conduct design reviews and feasibility studies to identify potential risks and propose innovative solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging BIM/CAD technologies and recommend tools or workflows to enhance team productivity.
- Provide technical support to junior designers and contribute to mentoring and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (Masterâs degree is a plus).
- 3+ years of experience in design engineering, BIM modeling, or CAD drafting, preferably in an MNC or international project environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D), SolidWorks, Revit, and BIM 360/Navisworks; familiarity with Inventor or Fusion 360 is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of BIM Level 2+ standards, clash detection, and model collaboration workflows.
- Experience with structural, MEP, or architectural modeling for construction or manufacturing industries.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a bonus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision.
