Responsibility
- Serve as the primary customer interface for demand planning, forecast accuracy, and shipment coordination.
- Develop and maintain feasible operational plans aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to ensure demand forecasts are accurate and actionable.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock, reduce excess, and prevent shortages.
- Analyze historical data, market trends, and customer insights to refine demand forecasts and improve planning accuracy.
- Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to ensure timely material availability and on-time deliveries.
- Prepare and present demand vs. supply reports to stakeholders, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance demand planning processes and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or inventory management, preferably in manufacturing or electronics.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise with internal and external partners.
- Experience with forecasting tools (e.g., SAP IBP, JDA, or similar) is highly desirable.
- Certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or APICS are a significant advantage.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a proactive problem-solving approach.
