Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier identification, evaluation, and contract negotiations with Chinese suppliers.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-effective sourcing opportunities and maintain a competitive supplier database.
- Liaise between internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services while meeting quality standards.
- Prepare and analyze procurement reports, purchase orders, and expenditure data to optimize budget allocation.
- Resolve supplier disputes, address delivery issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain operational continuity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, logistics, operations) to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Leverage bilingual (Mandarin-English) skills to facilitate clear communication and build trust with international partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) and English is mandatory; HSK certification is a plus.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Knowledge of incoterms, import/export regulations, and international trade practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage relationships with global suppliers.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a remote or hybrid setting.
