Responsibility
- Lead the debugging process for hardware and software systems, identifying and resolving complex technical issues.
- Develop and implement systematic engineering methodologies to diagnose and fix system failures.
- Collaborate with R&D, QA, and production teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of products.
- Document debugging processes, solutions, and best practices to improve future troubleshooting efficiency.
- Analyze debug outputs and performance metrics to propose enhancements for system stability and reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the development of departmental strategies and long-term goals to support company objectives.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative debugging techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in debugging hardware/software systems, preferably in a manufacturing or tech environment.
- Strong proficiency in debugging tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG, IDE debuggers).
- In-depth knowledge of embedded systems, PCB design, and firmware development.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, C/C++) for automation and testing.
- Familiarity with industry standards (IPC, ISO) and quality control processes.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical issues and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
