Responsibility
- Deal Structuring & Negotiation: Lead end-to-end deal negotiations for enterprise clients in SEA/GCN, including pricing models, contract terms, and commercial incentives.
- Market Strategy Development: Analyze regional trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to design tailored go-to-market strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Product, and Legal teams to align deal structures with Stripeās global objectives and compliance requirements.
- Financial Modeling: Build and present ROI analyses, discount frameworks, and revenue projections to justify deal terms to internal and external stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management: Cultivate relationships with C-level executives, partners, and internal teams to drive consensus on high-value deals.
- Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Ensure all deals adhere to local financial regulations, tax implications, and Stripeās risk policies in SEA/GCN.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor post-deal execution, identify upsell opportunities, and refine strategies based on KPIs and customer feedback.
- Thought Leadership: Represent Stripe at industry events, webinars, and internal forums to position the company as a leader in global payments innovation.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: 5+ years in deal strategy, business development, or commercial finance, with a focus on SEA/GCN markets (experience in fintech or SaaS is a plus).
- Negotiation Expertise: Track record of closing complex, high-value deals ($1M+ ACV) with enterprise clients or financial institutions.
- Analytical Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis (SQL, Excel), and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
- Regional Knowledge: Deep understanding of SEA/GCN business cultures, regulatory environments, and payment ecosystems.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal/written skills in English; fluency in Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, or other regional languages is advantageous.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to balance short-term revenue goals with long-term partnership value, leveraging market insights to drive innovation.
- Education: Bachelorās degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Remote Readiness: Self-motivated with experience in distributed teams, comfortable working across time zones (APAC focus).
